Larry Kantor holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Walsh College. He brings a balanced blend of financial and business expertise along with a passion for community service to the Great Lakes Literary Center.
In 2015, he co-founded the non-profit Royal Starr Arts Institute in Royal Oak, Michigan, showcasing his commitment to community building and supporting the arts in our region. As a board member and president, Larry played a pivotal role in launching the Royal Starr Film Festival.
Larry’s journey spans various non-profits, where he’s contributed both as a volunteer and in paid roles, embodying his dedication to making a positive impact. Besides his financial and business acumen, he has written short stories, novels, and screenplays. As a writer, he recognizes the intrinsic value of literary skills. He has also produced and directed short films based on his writings.
